Coding II (AM Camp)
Please note all Coding Camps are conducted by Cobo Academy and conducted in English.
Minecraft is SO MUCH more than a game. Be one of the 91 million people to explore the 3D world to its utmost potential while learning to code, create and design your own exciting features, game rules and commands in Minecraft!
Using your imagination combined with the builder tools in Microsoft’s Code Connection platform for Minecraft, students will hone their creativity while exploring fundamental coding concepts through block-based programming to not just build amazing structures and contraptions but build their spatial and logical thinking skills, as well! So much fun!
Device required: iPad / Macbook / PC + charger with Minecraft Education installed (Devices can be borrowed on campus)
Your child’s new coding and robot companion designed for STEM education! Join our all-new Codey Rocky holiday camp to give your child the opportunity to take their first steps into the world of code.
Suitable for children ages 6 and up, Codey Rocky combines easy-to-use robotics hardware with graphical programming and even has built-in WiFi that lets you create simple data-driven projects. For example, Codey Rocky can grab real-time weather data from all over the world. The robot also has IR and other sensors to collect additional data.
From voice recognition to infrared TV controls, Codey Rocky gives your child their first taste of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT).
Device required: iPad + charger (Devices can be borrowed on campus)
PM Camp is available for campers who prefer to join a full-day camp from 9:00 - 15:30 (AM + PM Camp). Please note that students will be required to bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks each day of the program, and there will be no access to refrigeration or microwaves. Staff members will supervise children during the lunch break, which will take place from 12:00 to 12:30.
All camps are conducted in English.
“My son enjoyed the Multi-Sport and Coding camp so much, he just didn't want it to end! We have friends who planned to join for one week only, enjoyed it so much, instantly registered for the second week, if not their school started earlier, would have joined the third week as well.” - Anson, dad of 9-year-old
Through Minecraft Education, children were inspired to create their own interactive 3D worlds while exploring coding, physics, and chemistry throughout the week. They also integrated Minecraft with MakeCode to design automated structures and build circuits and game contraptions for their friends to explore. This made it a fun and engaging hands-on learning tool for young children to learn coding.
Our young coders had an amazing time learning coding logic and programming the robot, Codey Rocky.
From grasping the fundamentals of variables and conditional statements to programming the robot to navigate and avoid obstacles autonomously, the learning process with the interactive robot was engaging and so much fun!

Campers will check in indoors on the ground floor of the Stamford campus. At the entrance, Camp Asia staff will be handing out pick-up cards to caretakers. We ask caregivers who are dropping off children not to enter the campus.
We have a nurse on site for all camps and our Camp Asia team members are first-aid trained.
We offer a highly convenient shuttle bus service from Yau Ma Tei and Ho Man Tin MTR stations at a low rate of $100 per week for the morning camps. Please note the availability is first come first served.
