Ages (8-10)

This camp invites children aged 8 to 10 for an exciting two-day adventure in an international school setting. It offers a unique opportunity for campers to engage in hands-on STEM activities, incorporating elements of artificial intelligence and robotics, along with arts, sports and more.

Participants will dive into a winter-themed experience filled with engaging projects, such as coding simple AI programs, creating winter-inspired digital art, and participating in interactive team challenges. Activities are designed to spark curiosity about technology and foster creativity.

Each day will feature interactive sessions where children can experiment with AI tools, collaborate on projects, and express themselves through various mediums. Our experienced instructors will guide them through fun challenges, encouraging teamwork and innovative thinking while exploring the wonders of winter in a tech-savvy way.

Lunch (12:00-12:30)

Please note that students will be required to bring a packed lunch and healthy snacks each day of the program, and there will be no access to refrigeration or microwaves. Staff members will supervise children during the lunch break, which will take place from 12:00 to 12:30.

Please note all camps are conducted in English.

“This was the first summer camp experience in Hong Kong for my kids (6 & 8 years old). They had a good time, especially the younger one in multi-activity, where the class included a good mix of learning, fun, and sports activities. I felt confident that they were in a safe and friendly environment, and it was an added bonus I got updates with pictures everyday.” - Jeannett, Mom of 6 & 8-year-olds

3D Design:

Our Innovative campers were given environmental, geology, and cultural information to analyze and design their own skyscraper with TinkerCad.

This activity not only teaches them about 3D Design skills and code but by analyzing data sets, campers also develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in order to create designs that are suitable for certain scenarios.

Cabbage Juice Experiment:

After understanding the theory of color mixing, our fellow scientists made a natural color dye blending pure purple cabbage juice. The color turns red, purple, blue or dark blue-green depending on the acidity level or the dye mixed. Through experimenting with different materials and color mixing, campers have developed a vivid understanding about chemical composition and created their own color spectrum!

Sphero:

This group of talented young coders collaborated to create a challenging maze and programmed the Sphero Robot to navigate through each other's designs.

Through this experience, they developed teamwork and collaboration skills, enhanced their problem-solving abilities, and deepened their understanding of coding concepts. They also gained hands-on experience with robotics and learned how to troubleshoot and iterate on their designs to achieve successful navigation.

3D Modeling:

Campers delved into the world of 3D design and modeling using CAD, they then brought their creations to life using a 3D printer, creating their own molds.

But the excitement didn't stop there! After polishing their molds, campers used them to craft their own bath bombs. Mixing the solution, learning about chemical reactions, and finally, pouring it into the molds, resulting in their unique bath bombs to bring home.
